- Call description – i.e., London, France Mobile etc

Note: Without the full list of data fields the audits is less valuable
Originating number
We collect all originating numbers then search the dialled numbers to identify intercompany (OnNet) calls. We can also use this number to break the CDR into separate offices / accounts if required.
Destination number
We use this to identify the destination being called as well as if it is an intercompany call.
Time of day / Date
This tells us if the call is peak, off-peak or a weekend.
Duration
We use the duration to calculate the alternative cost.
Cost
Used to run the cost comparison.
Call Type Indicator
This is used when there is no zero at the beginning of the calls to separate domestic from international destinations.
Call description
We subscribe to regulator dial string databases worldwide however if a number called is not registered we use the description as a back up to identify the destination called.
De-sensitising CDRs
Some customers will wish to remove or disguise various elements prior to releasing data. Removing any data will reduce its value at best or can render it useless for analysis.
Call charges
We subscribe to regulator dial string databases worldwide however if a number called is not registered we use the description as a back up to identify the destination called.
Originating number / Destination number
These are both key to identifying call destinations and intercompany traffic and must be preserved. If any digits are removed, unless intercompany (OnNet/group) calls are detailed in the call description they cannot be identified. If intercompany traffic is not important, to enable us to identify all calls correctly we must receive at least the first 8 digits of all calls.
