About Avinash Prasad

Avinash Prasad is the Vice President and Head for Managed Security Services and Content Delivery Network at Tata Communications. In this role, Avinash is responsible for Tata Communications’ global cyber security portfolio, positioning the company’s security services as a recognised brand in the market and expanding the company’s market presence and reach. Avinash has a multi-functional focus on customer management, practice and solution development, business development, innovation and partnerships.

Avinash has over two decades of experience in business, solutions and customer management across IT, Cyber Security and Consulting. Prior to Tata Communications, Avinash has worked with Infosys, Wipro Technologies and Wipro Infotech. Over the years, he has led multiple practice groups such as Data Privacy, Security Engineering Services, Cloud Security, Managed Security Services as well as Presales and Business Development for these domains.

Avinash holds a B. Tech degree in Textile Technology from IIT, Delhi and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Avinash lives in Bengaluru, India. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities like trekking, nature exploration and sports and is passionate about social contributions at the grass roots level and supporting child education initiatives.
