About Avneesh Prakash

Avneesh Prakash is Vice President of Mobility at Tata Communications. In this role, he is responsible to drive strategic innovation to further advance and develop the company’s global mobility platform – Tata Communications MOVE™.

With 27 years of rich global experience in technology and digital innovations, Avneesh has established and scaled global businesses in areas such as connectivity, digital identity & biometrics and financial inclusion, leading the development of digital SaaS platforms in the process. As a digital evangelist & enabler, Avneesh has helped enterprises and governments identify, connect and transact through digital identity, connectivity and payments interventions, including within India's Aadhaar programme - the world's largest biometric ID system.

Prior to joining Tata Communications, Avneesh was the Global Head of Digital Identity domain within the Digital Business Unit at IDEMIA. Avneesh has also spent 14 years with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), serving various functional leaderships roles within Sales, Account Management and Delivery organisations. Earlier, he had a brief stint with Zee Network, leading the creation of a new digital media venture within the group.
