About David Spears

David Spears is the Global Director for Microsoft Cloud Solutions at Tata Communications and has been pioneering Microsoft services for the last 20+ years. He has owned and operated his own business for 15 years prior to his current role at Tata Communications, focusing on Microsoft solutions enabling transformation from legacy environments to the current Microsoft platforms.

Drawing on his previous experience working with Microsoft communication platforms, David has enabled Tata Communications to be a global leader with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing. Today Tata Communications offers a complete managed service enabling partners and enterprises the ability to transition from an existing legacy estate to a fully transformed Microsoft Intelligent Communications end state of Microsoft Teams.

David Spears holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of North Carolina and has been working strategically with Microsoft for many years helping shape the industry. He is an entrepreneur at heart, continually looking forward to where the industry is moving and the technologies to enable it.
