About Praveen Arora

Praveen Arora is Vice President - Operations and Technology, Internet of Things (Business Unit) at Tata Communications. In this role, Praveen heads operations and new technological developments and partnerships for the IoT business in India, serving enterprise and public customers as well as start-ups.

Praveen has over 22 years of experience, supporting businesses and the C-suite on strategy and execution of large, high impact business transformation projects that cover Innovation, Industry X.0, IoT and Digital Thread & Twin across multiple industries.

Praveen began his career with Auto OEMs, working with Maruti Suzuki India Limited for 10+ years supporting product lifecycle management, R&D and new product design & development. Prior to Tata Communications, Praveen worked with Accenture for 11 years leading global projects across industries.

In his role at Accenture, Praveen played a key role in setting up new businesses, operations efficiency and effectiveness programmes, innovation management and Digital Thread & Twin globally for his clients in North America, China, Hong Kong, Japan and India. He has also served as the Global Program Director for Accenture's innovation programme.

Praveen’s experience in design thinking and innovation cuts across the automotive (Auto), Industrial Equipment (IE), Aerospace and defense (A&D), Infra, Electronics and Hi Tech, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Retail industries.

Praveen holds an Executive Master’s degree in Management from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from CEG, Anna University, Chennai.
