About Vivek Kar

Vivek Kar is an ISB Hyderabad alumnus with over 15 years’ experience in diversified business roles within Tata Communications. Currently, he is Assistant Vice President, Product Management, leading a global team of product GTM managers and product development managers to drive voice enablement and digital transformation across Cloud Based Application Providers, Telecom Service Providers and the Enterprise Segment.

Vivek started with Corporate Strategy, managing launches of new services and inorganic growth. He then moved to Product Management, to take care of investments in core sub-sea cable infrastructure and new market expansion, followed by heading internet services for India and SAARC.

Vivek then headed strategy for Tata Communications Collaboration and Connected Solutions Product Portfolio, driving initiatives to make it a $5bn business unit, finally transitioning into the current role of Global Product Management Head for Collaboration and Voice Solutions.
